Senior DBA Databricks The Skill Requirements: Databricks: Hands-on experience and technical fluency building pipelines & workflows using PySpark, Delta Lake and Unity Catalog (beyond Notebooks). Advanced SQL & Data Modeling: Expert-level SQL skills and a mastery of data modeling techniques (Dimensional, Star Schema, Snowflake) and ability to translate them into modern Big Data SQL / Databricks SQL. Desired additional skills dbt for modelling & Airflow for orchestration Experience choosing the right clusters, configurations, run-times for the right workloads and performance tuning pipelines to optimize the workflows desired. Exposure working with AWS services (S3 especially) DevOps & Engineering: Docker/Kubernetes and well versed in implementing and releasing production artefacts with CI/CD best practices (preferably with Gitlab). Governance: Experience with data versioning, schema evolution, and distributed metadata management. CV & Details in DM. @virn2014
